1" Compact Electric Actuated PVC Ball Valve PTFE/EPDM, 24 VAC

Valworx 566217 compact electric actuated PVC ball valves are typically used for on-off control of water and liquid media compatible with the materials of construction (not suitable for air or gas). Ideal where NSF certified construction is required for potable drinking water as well as other industrial applications. These actuated valves use power-to-open (position 1) and power-to-close (position 2), stays in last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via a self-locking all metal gear drive rotates the ball. The motor is stopped by internal cams striking limit switches. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position.

Rugged unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package. Actuators are tested to rigorous UL and CSA standards and certified by CSA. Two auxiliary limit switches are included to confirm valve open and closed positions. Typical applications include industrial/process piping, pulp and paper, food processing, water treatment and irrigation.
