Valve Positioners
Valworx valve positioners are used to control the position of pneumatic actuators, which in turn controls the flow of quarter turn air actuated valves. The cycle time of assemblies using a positioner could be slower than the actuator cycle time by upwards of 10 seconds.
Due to their non-linear torque characteristics, Scotch Yoke actuators should be used with digital smart positioners only.
