Valworx 550908 air actuated stainless steel V-port valves with limit switch are designed for applications requiring precise flow control. Suitable for use with water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. The valve has a three piece investment cast bolted body design with the advantage of a swing out body for easy inline maintenance. The pre-installed digital smart positioner provides fast and accurate valve positioning function whereby the movement of the actuator is controlled by a 4-20mA input control signal. Multi-function display shows valve position, target position and other selectable parameters. The positioner also includes a dome indicator and position confirmation switches, thereby doubling as a limit switch. Double acting actuator requires air to open and air to close. The valve will remain in the last position with loss of supply air or electric signal.
All valves tested per API 598.
