2" Explosion Proof 3-Way Stainless T-Diverter Valve, 24 VDC

Valworx 584516 Explosion Proof 3-way Full Port stainless steel ball valve is used to control the flow of water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. These valves have a T-port flow path which can be used as a diverter, selector or mixing valve. There is no flow shutoff position with this type valve. Actuator uses power-to-open (position 2) and power-to-close (position 1), stays in last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via an all metal self-locking gear drive rotates the ball one quarter turn. The motor is automatically stopped by internal cams striking limit switches. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position.

The ball valve is direct mounted to the actuator using the international standard ISO5211 mounting pad. Valworx does not recommend the use of high temperature brackets with explosion proof actuators. Rugged unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package. Actuators certified for UL Class I Div I Groups C & D, and are tested to rigorous UL and CSA standards and certified by CSA.
