3" Explosion Proof High Performance Butterfly Valve 110 VAC, EPS Positioner

Valworx 589203A explosion proof high performance butterfly valve is used for positioning control of water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. Wafer style valve sandwich mounts between customer supplied ANSI /ASME Class 150 and other international standard flanges and gaskets. Standard unit is power-to-open and power to close, stays in last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via a self-locking gear drive rotates the disc. The motor is stopped by internal cams striking limit switches. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position.

The valve is direct mounted to the actuator using the international standard ISO5211 mounting pad. Rugged unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package. Actuator certified for UL Class I Div I Groups C & D, and are tested to rigorous UL and CSA standards and certified by CSA.
