Valworx 566257 compact electric actuated PVC ball valves are typically used to control the flow of water and liquid media compatible with the materials of construction (not suitable for air or gas). Ideal where NSF certified construction is required for potable drinking water as well as other industrial applications.
The EPS- Electronic Positioner System provides an accurate valve positioning function whereby the movement of the actuator is controlled by a 4-20mA input control signal. Any change in the input signal results in a corresponding and proportional change in the position of the ball. The internal microprocessor and closed loop feedback system continuously monitors and maintains accurate valve position. Valve can be set to fail closed, in-place or open with loss of control signal (4-20mA input). The valve will remain in the last known position with loss of electric power. Valve position can be monitored with onboard analog output signal.
Rugged unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package. Typical applications include industrial/process piping, pulp and paper, food processing, water treatment and irrigation.
