Valworx 561856C electric actuator with EPS- Electronic Positioning System is controlled by a 4-20mA input control signal. Changing the input control signal results in a corresponding and proportional change in the position of the actuator output drive.

The EPS system is self-calibrating which virtually eliminates "hunting" and provides an output position monitoring signal as standard. The positioning module is fully potted to help protect the electronics from vibration and moisture. Actuator will remain in the last known position with loss of electric power. With main power on and a loss of control signal, actuator can be set to fail closed, fail open or fail in place.

These rugged electric actuators are typically used to automate quarter turn ball valves, butterfly valves or dampers. The actuator is easy to install with international standard ISO5211 multi-flange mounting and a double square output drive. Unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package. Actuators are tested to rigorous UL and CSA standards and certified by CSA. Anti-condensation heater is standard and will help protect actuator against damage caused by condensation.
