Valworx 582900A explosion proof 3-way sanitary ball valves are typically used for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care and pet care applications where sanitary construction is required, as well as for utility, process and hazardous environment applications where quick clamp applications are needed.
The EPS- Electronic Positioning System provides an accurate valve positioning function whereby the movement of the actuator is controlled by a 4-20mA input control signal. Any change in the control input signal results in a corresponding and proportional change in the position of the ball. The internal microprocessor and closed loop feedback system continuously monitors and maintains accurate valve position. The valve will remain in the last known position with loss of electric power. There is no flow shutoff position with this type valve.
These T port valves can be set-up in any one of four different flow patterns (T1-T4) in the field by simply moving the valve stem (factory setup T2 flow pattern).
The valve is direct mounted to the actuator using the international standard ISO5211 mounting pad. Valworx does not recommend the use of high temperature brackets with explosion proof actuators.
Actuators certified for UL Class I Div I Groups C & D, and are tested to rigorous UL and CSA standards and certified by CSA.
