1/2" Sanitary Ball Valve, L-Port, 24 VDC, Tri-Clamp, EPS Positioner

Valworx 576800 electric actuated stainless steel sanitary 3-way ball valves are typically used for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care and pet care applications where sanitary construction is required, as well as for utility, process and corrosive environment applications where quick clamp applications are needed. These L port valves can be used as either a diverter valve or a selector valve. When using as a diverter valve, inlet flow to the center inlet port is diverted to either side outlet port one or side outlet port two. When using as a selector valve, there are two separate inlet ports (side ports) and one common outlet port (center port). Highly polished internals (8- 12 Ra finish) and Dyneon PTFE ball seats are standard. Triple stem seal design is live-loaded and self-adjusting, compensating for wear, pressure, and temperature fluctuations.

The EPS- Electronic Positioning System provides an accurate valve positioning function whereby the movement of the actuator is controlled by a 4-20mA input control signal. Any change in the control input signal results in a corresponding and proportional change in the position of the ball. The internal microprocessor and closed loop feedback system continuously monitors and maintains accurate valve position. The valve will remain in the last known position with loss of electric power. There is no flow shutoff position with this type valve.
