6" Electric Actuated PVC Butterfly Valve 24-240V

Valworx 540508 electric actuated PVC butterfly valves are typically used for on-off control of water and liquid media compatible with the materials of construction including potable water and lead-free applications. Actuator uses power to open and power to close, stays in the last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous voltage signal, the motor runs and via a flat gear system rotates the valve disc. The motor is automatically stopped by an internal cam striking a limit switch. On receipt of a reversing continuous signal, the motor turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position. Typical applications include industrial/process piping, pulp and paper, food processing, water treatment and irrigation.

PVC butterfly valves should never be used for compressed gas applications.
