Valworx 578301A air actuated stainless steel sanitary 3-way ball valves are typically used for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care and pet care applications where sanitary construction is required, as well as for utility, process and corrosive environment applications where quick clamp applications are needed. These L port valves can be used as either a diverter valve or a selector valve. When using as a diverter valve, inlet flow to the center inlet port is diverted to either side outlet port one or side outlet port two. When using as a selector valve, there are two separate inlet ports (side ports) and one common outlet port (center port). Highly polished internals (8- 12 Ra finish) and Dyneon PTFE ball seats are standard. Triple stem seal design is live-loaded and self-adjusting, compensating for wear, pressure, and temperature fluctuations.
