1/2" Air Actuated 3-Way Brass T-Diverter Valve, SR

Valworx 521722 air actuated 3-way Full Port lead free brass ball valves are designed for use with air, water, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. These T-port ball valves are typically used as a diverter valve. Ideal where lead free and NSF approved construction are required for potable drinking water as well as other industrial applications. Spring return actuators use an air pressure signal (80-120PSI) to change the valve to position 2 and springs to return the valve to position 1. The valve will fail to position 1 upon loss of air signal (or electrical power, if energized using a pilot solenoid valve). There is no flow shutoff position with this type valve. Actuator has standard ISO/Namur interface for mounting optional direct mount solenoid valve and other accessories. These actuated ball valves can be mounted in any orientation. High temperature valve mounting kit available for extended temperature range or wall mounting applications.

Advantages of air actuated ball valves over other type valves may include: higher flow rates, higher pressures, higher temperatures, wider media compatibility, full port flow path, reduced water hammer, and use in hazardous environments.
