Valworx 544132 air actuated PVC ball valves are used for on-off control of water and other compatible media (no air or gas). Ideal where NSF certified construction is required for potable drinking water as well as other industrial applications. Double acting actuators use an air pressure signal (58- 87 PSI) to open and close the valve. These actuated ball valves can be mounted in any orientation.
Advantages of air actuated ball valves over other type valves may include: higher flow rates, higher pressures, higher temperatures, wider media compatibility, straight through flow path and reduced water hammer.
