Valworx 543316A stainless steel full port three way ball valves are designed for use with water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. Use as an L-port diverter valve (direct flow from center inlet port to either side outlet port 1 or 2) or as a selector valve (two separate inlet ports and one center outlet port). Spring return actuators use an air pressure signal (58-87PSI) to change the valve to position 2 and springs to return the valve to position 1. The valve will fail to position 1 upon loss of air signal (or electrical power, if energized using a pilot solenoid valve). High temperature valve mounting kit available for extended temperature range or wall mounting applications. Advantages of air actuated ball valves over other type valves may include: higher flow rates, higher pressures, higher temperatures, wider media compatibility, straight through flow path, reduced water hammer, and use in hazardous environments. Valve is tested per API 598, can be mounted in any orientation.
