2" Air Actuated 3-Way T-port PVC Ball Valve - Spring Return

Valworx 526052 air actuated 3-way PVC ball valves are used to control the flow of water and other compatible liquid media (not suitable for compressed air or gas). The T-port flow pattern is typically used as a diverter valve. Ideal where NSF approved construction is required for potable drinking water as well as other industrial applications. Spring return actuators use an air pressure signal (80-120PSI) to change the valve to position 2 and springs to return the valve to position 1. The valve will fail to position 1 upon loss of air signal (or electrical power, if energized using a pilot solenoid valve). Actuator has standard ISO/Namur interface for mounting optional direct mount solenoid valve and other accessories. These actuated ball valves can be mounted in any orientation. Both female NPT and IPS socket end connectors are included with each valve.

Advantages of air actuated ball valves over other type valves may include: higher flow rates, higher pressures, higher temperatures, wider media compatibility, straight through flow path and reduced water hammer.
